5/22/08- Over the past
months that we've been working on this newest update
to CPN we've added so many things to CPN the best
way to tell you about them is to ask you to take a
moment to visit EVERY single page on CPN. We've
added to our disability library, We've added new
Regional Director pages for all our western states.
We also added an update to Amanda's Friends. There
are new exceptional people and so much more. This is
only the tip of the iceberg. We are continuing to
add all our state resources. There is a lot of info
in this area and with all the other updates this is
taking a bit of time to add all the information we
found last year. I hope you will find this newest
update to be the best yet. We are continuing to
strive to make CPN a more member interactive and
member ran organization while raising CP Awareness
and education for all whom cross our threshold.

With this new update for
CPN we are hoping to recharge and revitalize our CPN members. We
are going to be working through the rest 2007, getting our
committees reorganized and members selected to help us bring
these committees back in place. We are also working on bringing
an Regional Director to every state.
We've also felt a big pinch in our lives
without our chat room available and have set the goal to also
have our chat room back up and running by the beginning of next
year.
Very shortly
our member will be able to once again log on to CPN and go to
our members only section were you can network with other members
plan get togethers and get member to member support.

We also want to thank everyone for
understanding about our having to cancel our 10 year bbq. We are
hoping that we can plan some Christmas time get togethers. Stay
tuned for more information on this.
8/30/2007- We found we had
a few errors on our site in our CP Awareness and Amanda's
friends links. We've corrected those errors. We apologize for
any incontinence and hope you enjoy our site. Feel free to
continue to send your feed back. This update we've found LOTS of
positive feedback THANK YOU.

9/11/2007- We are very happy to announce
we've completed our PowerPoint project for our
Disability Awareness
Program for peer to peer disability education
10/2/07- We are happy to announce we
are coordinating our video documentary to raise CP
Awareness. We will be working with TCTV Olympia Washington
to produce this documentary.
We also have decided to continue as
a non profit organization in Washington state with
networking across the country at this time. We will
eventually go on to be 501 c 3 however at this time
it just is not feasible for us to consider this
option while we are striving to restructure and
organize CPN into the organization we've always
hoped it to be.
We recently updated our guidelines for
Regional Directors and are working to the final vote of
approval by our members to incorporate these guidelines.
We've also began working on our committee guidelines as well
as our purpose and mission statements as well. It is our
hope and desire to allow the general public to know and
understand our goals and visions.
CPN has just received 3 new
applications for Regional Directors we've reviewed those
applications and have accepted them as new RD's. We are very
excited about the rebirth that has come within CPN.
We've updated show dates on Close to
Normals webpage.
CPN is happy to announce we have a new
phone number for CPN! You will not have to call Dena's home
phone anymore. =) The number is 360-915-8290.
